Catalogue Sales:  VBW prepares four catalogue sales each year which any customer can join.  These are promoted with full-colour fliers (see below) which are a great way of promoting your business, as well as the booksale, at minimal cost.

Seasonal Promotions:  In addition, we prepare stock and free point-of-sale material (see below) for special promotions such as Father's Day, Christmas, Winter Reading, Holiday Reading and Entertainment, etc.

We usually have the following Special Promotions each year:

• Catalogue Sales in March, June, September and November (in store early-mid the same month),

• Mothers Day, Winter Activity Pack, Father's day and Christmas Gift Pack (in store 2-4 weeks before the relevant event/period)

• Display bins of Character merchandise (Disney, Wiggles, Dora, etc.) are prepared for general distribution from time to time or on special request.

The catalogue and poster sales are based loosely on school holiday dates and on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.  Our catalogue and poster sales have become very successful, with very low return rates, so they are well worth supporting.

As usual:

• Poster packs (20-30 titles) will have a retail value of around $1000 (cost around $600) and will be promoted with 3 or 4 double sided, full colour A2 posters supplied free by VBW.
• The Giant Book Sale catalogue sales (about 100 titles) will have 2 packs with a retail value of around $2000 and $4000 (cost around $1200 and $2400 respectively).  Fliers are about 50% subsidised by VBW, distribution is paid by the customer.
• The Newspower sales (80-100 titles) will have 3 packs with a retail value of around $1500, $2500 and $4000 (cost around $900, $1500 and $2400 respectively).  Fliers are about 50% subsidised by VBW, distribution is paid by the customer.
